For this month’s first Friday Film, I unveil the second episode of my Cultivating Creativity series. This episode explores the joy of play and how unstructured fun activity is a breeding ground for creativity and ideation. Filmed in a park in Woodbury, TN, and in a studio in Liberty, TN, I had a lot of fun making this, which is actually the objective I was aiming for. The music in this episode is an original composition and a piano improvisation I recorded specifically for this project.

Roqué’s first Friday films are back in 2022! For this first Friday in February, I premiere the inaugural episode of a series I have made called “Cultivating Creativity.” This collection of stories detail different practices designed to nurture creativity in my life. The first episode describes four basic rules that govern how I cultivate new ideas and fresh perspectives.
This series will be the first complete set of videos that I am presenting on my YouTube channel.

It’s that time again! Time for another Friday Film! This time, there’s a mixed bag of fun stuff including live-action art creation, stop-motion segments, harmonized singing, original poetry, and chopsticks!!
I had a lot of fun making this piece. Drawing and stop-motion are two activities that are incredibly calming and meditative. I also love to make harmonies when I sing, and so, this project was an excuse to do many of my favorite activities.

For the foreseeable future, I will be releasing a new film on the first Friday of every month. My life has suddenly been filled with exciting new projects, and I am only human. This new schedule will give me more breathing room and mental space to keep going and creating.
Thank you all for watching, and I hope you enjoy “Art In Motion.”
