Roqué’s Friday Films (11/27): The Sum of My Hands
Alas!! Another Friday is upon us! I have a new film for you today! In “The Sum of My Hands,” I provide an interior view of my creative life. You get some sense of what drives my creative ideas. It is a life that swims through several different streams that often overlap and converge.
This film has a new score called “Hands Full,” and it gives the film a melodic consistency despite its mercurial imagery.

Roque’s Friday Film (10/30): Colors Falling at the Stone Door
It’s here! This week’s new film is designed to be experimental and evocative. Filmed during a recent trip to the Stone Door trail at South Cumberland State Park in Tennessee, I was able to capture lush forest imagery and panoramic vistas overlooking the gorgeous Savage Gulf area.
I have always wanted to play around with color in my films and the backdrop of fall foliage colors seemed to be a wonderful opportunity to try it out. I also recorded a chant that I wrote. I sang it in three part harmonies, and the result is a plaintive and haunting piece of music.
I hope you enjoy this week’s offering! If you are a Youtube enthusiast, please feel free to subscribe to my channel right here:
